Why Canada?

We’ve had the experience of living and working in England. Now we’re keen to experience life from a North American perspective.

Historically and culturally there are great affinities between Australia and Canada. Both former colonies of the British Empire, these “new nations” achieved full independence only in the twentieth century and remain part of the Commonwealth of Nations. Whilst shaped by British Institutions and values, large scale immigration in the latter part of the twentieth century has helped build multicultural societies. Aborigines and First Nations peoples remain at the heart of these nations, part of their essential fabric.
