Whistler Village

Whistler Village is a resort town purpose built to access the surrounding mountains. Visiting in September in low season meant we could get accommodation at vastly reduced rates.

The Delta Suite looked more like 5 star hotel accommodation to us, yet was the cheapest deal in town. Importantly the Delta was equipped with a full kitchen and self catering facilities to help keep costs down.

We were amazed to discover how centrally the Delta was located.

It backs onto the Town Plaza, a pedestrianised strip leading directly to the Chairlift up Whistler Mountain.

As you can see the mountains are an impressive back-drop to the town, and the village provides one of the best vantage points from which to appreciate the mountain scenery.

But the “sign” that we were were “meant” to be here was that the Whistler Public Library lies directly opposite the Delta Suites!
